Di Gi Charat is a playable character in the PC/Mac game called Dejiko no Heja by Broccoli software (the reason why she likes Broccoli so much). The game takes place in various environments with the player having to cater for Di Gi's and her friends needs. This involves housing her, installing various furniture and basically taking care of a virtual 'Tamagochi' pet.

Her friends include Petit Charat (her brown cat eared sister), Rinna, Mike and other Di Gi pets (such as bunny girls, panda girls and the evil Di Gi Devil !!!). Di Gi Charat is easily recognisable from her three very large bells hanging from her ears and neck, she also loves ribbons and considers them the latest thing in fashion...

Petit likes soy beans and Nattou paste like Tofu while Rinna prefers cake. Rinna is crazy about anything fluffy such as pompom balls and soft clothes.
